Douglas Jaram

Douglas the owner set up the company in 2014 after a career in the building and surveying industry spanning 30 years. Originally working in the house building and contracting sector, Douglas then joined a local consulting engineering practice which still forms a strong basis of the services Jaram Associates offers. After working in some different private practice firms, Douglas qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2004 as a member of the RICS. Jaram Associates is also an RICS Regulated firm.
We specialise in Dampness and Structural defects in a variety of building types. Douglas is also a Chartered Building Engineer being a member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. Jaram Associates is a member of the Subsidence Forum which is a nationwide organisation that promotes best practice in the subsidence industry that we specialise in.
